Zcomp Version 1.1 ================= Simple, Efficient File Compression ================================== Need to fit even more information into your PSION? ZCOMP is a small .OPA application (less than 10k) which efficiently compresses files on the S3a, S3c and Siena Psion machines. Compressed files are kept in a directory (ZCO) on the Psion internal disk for subsequent expansion. Zcomp has been written to be highly memory efficient. Installation ============ Copy ZCOMP.OPA to the APP directory of your internal drive using your preferred transfer protocol. There are no further files to be copied. Install the application with Psion-I. When you first run Zcomp a directory will be created on your internal drive \ZCO\, as a preferred location for compressed files, which are given the extension .ZCO by Zcomp. Use === Use to activate the usual Psion file browser. Select a file for compression. A dynamic bar indicates compression progress. For decompression select a .ZCO file and press .
